Let the Yarn be the Star

Although I finished My 2012 Cotton Go-to Scarf over a year ago, the project remained as a Ravelry WIP.  To me, a project isn’t complete until it is photographed and I finally did.

Go-to Cotton Scarf

Go-to Cotton Scarf

The Pattern is Bias ‘Before & After’ Scarf by Churchmouse Yarns and Teas.  I used one full skein of Taiyo Sock yarn.  This pattern is boring – just stockinette stitch over and over – knit and purl, increase and decrease.

But Sometimes Boring is Good.

This was an easy knit, perfect to carry around. (People always ask me how I knit so much.  The answer is I always have knitting with me.)  The yarn is soft and the colors are really great I love the result and the feel.  This has become a Go-To scarf.

Moving the yarn along the needles – mindless and meditative.

If I use the yarn you used can I use the free pattern from her website or do I need to buy it thru Raverly.

I think Churchmouse Pattern does have a cost. There are other free patterns on the Churchmouse site so look around – but if you like the scarf, just purchase it through Ravelry.
